Position Overview
Responsible for assisting in providing the technical and engineering support to the business unit to assure that the manufacturing costs and standards are meet and exceed company targets. Drive continuous improvement on all processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide new customer, job and tooling drawings. This includes assisting in identifying and resolving issues related to tooling, equipment, controls, processes and designs. Assist with the implementation of temporary and permanent counter-measures and verification of results (PDCA)
Update and analyze the SPC data. This includes employing continuous improvement methods to input new jobs into the system, as well as modify and maintain current data while streamlining processes and becoming a master user.
Support the development of product designs and redesigns utilizing 3D and 2D software programs. Includes assisting in establishing part specifications, layouts, control plans, timelines, APQP checklists, FMEA's, design reviews and assist with R&D projects.
Assist in the maintenance of the ISO system, QC production floor checks, CAR's R/C investigations, SPC monitoring and analysis. Also includes assisting with PPAP's and FAI's, sort and rework as needed.
Support Continuous Improvement initiatives by assisting with supplier development, standardized work and lean manufacturing campaigns, T/M training, safety and various C/I projects as needed.
Adhere to all company policies including ongoing quality and safety practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities - None.
Qualifications
BSME along with 1-3 years experience required, preferably in a metals machining environment. Requires knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software and the ability to learn machine operations. Requires proficiency with spreadsheet analysis (i.e., Microsoft Excel), as well as an understanding of IS systems, SPC data and manufacturing cost drivers. Must possess the ability to analyze and implement good sound manufacturing processes. Requires well developed time management, interpersonal, organizational, communication and leadership skills. Must have the ability to multi-task.
Physical requirements
Some office work. Requires the ability to frequently move safely around the shop floor.
Work Environment
Works fairly independently, reporting to and receiving direction from the Quality and Engineering Director as needed. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
