Position Summary: The Manufacturing Manager - Deltar Fasteners will report the Plant Manager - Deltar Fasteners and will manage activities of manufacturing cells, including Plastics and Assembly areas, to achieve key performance metrics through maximum efficiency consistent with profit, quality, personnel, and safety objectives of the division.   Job Requirements Primary Responsibilities: o         Establish, document, verify, and maintain optimum processing parameters and establish upper and lower control limits for process monitoring system o         Analyze manufacturing processes and systems, identify areas for improvement o         Oversight and development for shift cell leaders/supervisors, floor technicians and operators including performance reviews o         Develop preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and procedures o         Track key performance indicators and uphold accountability systems o         Develop short and long term plans for process improvements o         Coordinate first time tool-runs, perform rigorous mold try-outs, and startup of full scale production o         Champion Plant Safety Program, accident and incident investigation through RCA methods, and driving incremental improvement to plant safety culture o         Active in the review of machine safety and corrective measures o         Interface with Project Engineers at design concept stage to insure design for manufacturability o         Establish quality standards as related to materials o         Be the technical authority on process monitoring and all materials technology matters; draw from expertise of materials suppliers, processors, and other sources acting as a point of focus for their direct or indirect input to solutions o         Work with plant personnel to improve quality and efficiencies in production o         Work with management in establishing strategic plans for continued process improvement o         Active in the review of machine safety and corrective measures o         Monitor and understand new technologies to improve quality and efficiency o         Perform quality tasks as per TS16949 Quality Program o         Follows all safety guidelines and assist as needed in other areas of manufacturing o         Drive key performance metrics, including 5S o         Other tasks and duties as assigned Position Skills and Experience Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
